She married Adolph Israelske there in 1888 and came to Denver in 1899. A member of the National Council of Jewish Women and the Sisterhood of Temple Emanuel, Mrs. Israelske lived at 312 Eudora St. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Simon Quiat, and Mrs. Sam Judd, both of Denver; Mrs. Nathan Schwartz of Detroit, and Mrs. Harold Lutz of Denver; three sons, Sidney of Denver, Fred of Houston and Charles Israelske of Oakland, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. [Transcriber's note: Minnie Israelske was my great-grandmother. Her maiden name was Weisenberger. The obituary has a few errors: she had four surviving daughters, not three as typed, although all four are listed. Her son Fred Israelske, my grandfather, was by this time using the name Fred Irwin. Her son Charles Israelske was by this time using the name Charles Israel.] =================================================== Contributed for use by the USGenWeb Archive Project (http://www.usgenweb.org) and by the COGenWeb Archive Project USGENWEB NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organization or persons.
