Osborn, A Pioneer Attorney of Denver, Is Dead. Stephen A. Osborn, a prominent attorney, died at Mercy Hospital yesterday. Osborn was born in Wisconsin, July 25, 1851, was ed- ucated at Tabor College, Iowa, and began the practice of law at Brownville, Neb. He came to Colorado in 1883 and secured offices in the Opera House block, which he had occupied since. Osborn was associated with the legal department of the Burlington Road for many years. In Colorado he specialized in irrigation law. He was connected with many irrigation enterprises, prominent among which were the Farmers' High Line Canal and Reservoir Company, for which he was attorney for years. He was also one of the organizers of the North Poudre Irrigation Company and the Mountain Supply Ditch Company at Fort Collins. Osborn is survived by his mother, 90 years old, who lives in McCook, Neb., his wife, Frances Hull Osborn, and three children.
