SARAH J. SOWLE IS DEAD; MOTHER OF HORACE W. BENNETT (Includes photo) Mrs. Sarah J. Sowle, mother of Horace W. Bennett, died yesterday at her home, 335 East Seventh Avenue, of pneumonia, after a ten days illness. Mrs. Sowle came to Denver five years ago from Brighton, Mich. She was the great grand-daughter of Colonel Edwin B. Morse of the Colonial Army. Her parents were among the early settlers of Michigan. Mrs. Sowle was 69 years of age. She is survived by two sons, Horace W. Bennett and M. J. Sowle; and two daughters, Mrs. Henry Marschner of Denver and Mrs. A. W. Powell of Ottawa, Canada. The funeral will be held from the Bennett home, 1212 Grant Avenue, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
