Hallam Classmates, friends and dear companions We have met at last to part, and the pain we cannot conquer now o'ershadows every heart. Three long years we've worked together, All our paths have been as one; But it seems though school is over, That our life has just begun. We depart, perhaps forever, All our well known joys forego, And the old familiar places will no more our presence know. Yet we hope to be remembered by the ones we leave behind, And be bound forever with them in a friendship true and kind. In the great unbroken future let us "brave and faithful" be; strong to bear the griefs and trials which we cannot now foresee. And whatever ills befall us, let us, as in days of yore, keep the motto that was given us for the class of 84 Graduates Effie Z Hallam Leila F. Williams Frances L. Brandt Laura A. Ducey Morrison F.
