The 1881 Census, Midlothian, Scotland shows the following:

The 1900 US Census, Douglas County, shows Samuel and Jane are living
there and that they immigrated to the United States in 1888.

Annie Bruce Douglas Edmonston obtained a marriage license with Aurelian Arthur William Money on
March 8, 1889 in Douglas County, Colorado.  Their son, Bruce Ernley Money, was born in Surrey,
England in August 1889 and Anne died before September 30, 1889 in Surrey, England.

Alice Margaret Edmonston obtained a marriage license with Edger George Money
(b. February 24, 1866 in India) on November 29, 1888 in Douglas County, Colorado.
Their children were:
   Edward Douglas Money, b. June 21, 1889 in Colorado
   George Russell Money, b. December 14, 1890 in Colorado
   Margaret Frances Ina Money, b. September 8, 1893 in Colombo, Ceylon
   Audrey Evelyn Dorothy Money, b. July 5, 1899 in Colombo, Ceylon

Francis Emmerson Edmonston was born January 28, 1866 in Edinburgh, Scotland
and died March 28, 1943 in Riverside, Riverside County, California where he
is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery.  Francis can be found in the Teller
County, Colorado Census, 1910, single and a gold miner.  He married Bird Craig
Riggs sometime after 1910 as they are found together in Pasadena, Los Angeles
County, Californin in 1920.  Bird had been married to James P. Riggs in Douglas
County on June 4, 1895.  She died November 21, 1939 and is buried with Francis 
in Evergreen Cemetery, Riverside, California.

William Douglas Edmonston obtained a marriage license with Laura M. Kinner on
May 4, 1894 in Douglas County, Colorado.  They had two children:

Gladys Hampton Edmonston, b. February 21, 1897, Colorado Springs, El Paso County,
   Colorado; d. April 11, 1988, Burbank, Los Angeles County, California.  She married
   Howard E. Cox.  They procured a license in Pueblo County, Colorado on June 14, 1915,
   #14865.  They had a daughter, Roberta L. Cox, b. February 1917.
   
Samuel Maxwell Edmonston, b. July 16, 1898 in Douglas County, Colorodo.  He died before
   1930.
