Metz Laid To Rest, Monday Eda Frances Lambert was born near Greenland, Colorado, on August 28, 1898. She was the seventh of nine children born to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lambert. Here she grew to womanhood and received her education in the Cherry School and the Douglas County High School. She was united in marriage to Charles Metz on February 6, 1928. To this union was born two daughters, Georgie Lucille and Darlene Jean. She has been in failing health for some time and in spite of all that could be done by medical care and loving hands, at noon on Friday, July 19, 1946 she slipped peacefully away to join her Maker in whom she so lovingly trusted. She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband, Charlie, and daughters, Georgie and Darlene, besides the following brothers and sisters, Ora, of Littleton; Fred of Loveland; Roy, of Henderson; Frank, of Cherry; Mrs. Iva Williams, of Larkspur; Vernie, Ida and Lucy Lambert, all of Castle Rock, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in the Andrews Funeral Home on Monday afternoon at one o'clock. Mr. Alex Anderson officiating. Interment was made in the Spring Valley cemetery.
