      + The family was from Caithness, Scotland. They immigrated to Denver, Colorado in 1888 or 1889 and moved to Elizabeth about 1893.  Janet and Francis died within 12 hours of each other.  The obit in the Elizabeth County Banner of 17 February 1905 lists pneumonia as the cause of death.
