b. Sept. 21, 1912 in St. Cloud, MN

d. Apr. 20, 1977 in Colorado Springs, CO

Burial in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. with military honors.

Resident of Colorado Springs since 1973.

Prior to Colorado Springs he was a hairdresser and a barber in Fairmont, MN.

Serviced in the Army during WWII.

Survived by widow: Miriam C. Fandel, a son, James Fandel and daughter, Phyllis 

Friedman; two brothers, Leonard Fandel and Harold Fandel and three sisters, 

Armanda Zabinski, Rosemary Eberhardt and Mabel Ryan and three grandchildren.
