Bartholomew Ezra Bishop was born April 1839 at Ashwick, Somerset, England to 
John and Ann Bishop.

Found in the 1841 - 1851 censuses living at Ashwick, Someret, England: 
1841: John Bishop 35, Ann 35, Maryann 15, John	10, James 8, Worthy 6, 
Theresa 4, Bartholomew 2

1851: Ann Bishop 48, John 21, Worthy 16, Theresa 13, Bartholomew 10, 
Silvister 7, Lucinda 3

Found in the 1861 census living at Wells, Somerset, England:
Ann Bishop 60, Teresa Bambary Stubbe 24, Bartholomew Bishop 21, Theophilus 
Bishop 17, Lusinda Bishop 15.

Bartholomew married Sarah Ann Reddick on June 13, 1866 at Somerset, England. 
They had at least 5 children: John (b 1868), Lucy (b 1871), Lily (b 1879), 
Rosa Ellen (b April 3, 1886) and Harold (b 1889).

Found in the 1871 - 1881 censuses living at Binegar, Wells, Somerset, 
England: 
1871: Bartholomew Bishop 32, Sarah Ann 24, John 3, Lucy 7 mos.

1881: Bartholomew Bishop 40, Sarah Ann 33, John 18, Lucy 10, Lily L 2.

In 1884, the family emigrated to America and settled in Fremont County, 
Colorado where Bartholomew was employed as a coal mine laborer.

In 1896 or 1899?, wife Sarah Ann Reddick Bishop died at Rockvale, Fremont, 
Colorado and was buried at Union Highland Cemetery, Florence, Fremont, 
Colorado. Her Find a Grave Memorial is #79505814.

Found in the 1900 census living at Rockvale, Fremont, Colorado: Bartholomew 
E Bishop 61, Lillie 21 daughter, Rosa 14 daughter, Harold 11 son, Gertrude 
Lloyd 9 granddaughter, Ruby Lloyd 7 granddaughter, Lucy Lloyd 5 
granddaughter.  Can Read, write and speak English, Owns his home.

Bartholomew E Bishop died January 6, 1902 at Rockvale Fremont, Colorado and 
was buried at the Union Highland Cemetery, Florence, Fremont, Colorado. 
His Find a Grave Memorial is #79504095. 

His wife, son Harold and daughter Rosa (Mrs Charles Harold Morganstean) are 
also buried at the Union Highland Cemetery.
