April 13, 1937 There is also an unreadable marker and an outlined but otherwise unmarked third grave. -------------------------------------- HAYNOR FAMILY PLOT The George Haynor grave site is located on private land near Portland. It has only one headstone with the names: George B. Haynor Oct 20, 1873 Feb 20, 1931 Alma Haynor Heise Jan 1, 1893 Oct 20, 1892 (on reverse of George's marker) --------------------------------------- McCUMBER FAMILY CEMETERY The McCumber Family Cemetery is located southeast of Canon City just off Colorado Highway 115 about 1/4 mile east of McKenzie Blvd. There are three known graves - one unmarked. McCumber, Allen 1890-1899 McCumber, Elizabeth 1862-1899 -------------------------------------- TAYLOR FAMILY CEMETERY To get to the Taylor Family Cemetery, take US Highway 50 west from Canon City about 9 miles. Turn north (right) onto Colorado Highway 9 for about 10 miles then turn west (left) on Fremont Co Road 2 (Tallahassee Road). Go 5.4 miles to Fremont Co Rd 26. Turn right on Co Rd 26 1.3 miles to the cemetery (1/10 mile past Candle Lane.)
