Emma (Palmatier) Mackey Jones with her youngest child Myrtle Mackey before her 
marriage in 1909.

Additional Comments:
Emma Cornelia Palmatier was born 6 March 1866 in Poughkeepsie, NY and married 
at fourteen years to Hiram Lee Mackey 11 Sept 1880 in Macon Co.,MO. They had 
three children - Annie, George and Myrtle. Myrtle May Mackey was born 1 March 
1887 in Kirksville, Adair Co., MO. The family moved to Colorado by covered 
wagon the spring of 1888. Myrtle learned to walk on the trip between Missouri 
and Colorado. Myrtle married Walter Towner 21 August 1909 in Walsenburg, CO and 
had one child Edward Mansfield Towner born 18 June 1910 in Boise, ID.
