At 7 p. m. the wedding party composed of the bride and groom attended by Miss Mattie Fuller and Mr. Chas. Sheppard passed from the house to the lawn, where a large number of relatives and friends were assembled, and paused before Squire Tubbs, of New Castle, who conducted the impressive ceremony. The bride was attired in a lovely dress of white swiss mull decorated with bows of white satin ribbon, crowned by a wreath of orange blossoms and wedding veil. Her bridesmaid was dressed in pink, while the groom wore conventional black. After congratulations to the happy couple all were bidden to the wedding feast which was spread in a lovely manner with decorations of roses, iris and carnations, showing much taste. Everyone did ample justice to the toothsome edibles after which a jolly time was indulged in until a late hour, when all wished them all the blessings possible in their new relations and went to their homes leaving the following presents: Maud and P. Urquhart, glass set; Mrs. Urquhart, table cloth; Mr. and Mrs. C.H.C. Miller, salad dish; Ed. Davis, toilet set; Mr. and Mrs. Ohler, cuspidor and lamp; Florence and Chris Miller, coffee spoons; Munro Mercantile Co., clock; Mr. and Mrs. Archie Urquhart, decorated dish; Mr. and Mrs. John Dixon, glass set; Mr. and Mrs. Davis, bridal veil; Jas. Offit, gloves; Eugene Ohler, rolling pin; Mr. and Mrs. Gredler, set of dishes; Mrs. Fuller, dish pan; Mrs. V. Moore, boquet; Mrs. Powell and Mr. Norgaard, cake stand; Mr. and Mrs. Donel, iron bedstead; Zieseniss & Todd, table cover and Mrs. P. J. Davis, dishes and table cloth.
