 Emily Black
Appril 2, 1910 - February 17, 1992
 A service of remembrane for Emily Marie Black of Silt was held February 21, 
1992, at Sowder Funeral home with the Rev. James Legg officiating.
 She died February 17, 1992, in Glenwood Springs.
 Emily Marie Black was born April 2, 1910, to George Herschell and Nellie 
Louise Riggs Johnson in Dry Fork, Kentucky. She spent her childhood in 
Kentucky and Winfield, Kan., and graduated from Winfield High School.
 She married Wesley Myron Black March 17, 1961, in Denver. Mr. Black died 
August 21, 1988, in Rifle.
 Survivors include her step-son and daughter-in-law, Myron and Jean Black of 
Silt; three sisters, Nancy Fitz of Wichita, Kan.; Lucille David of Rapid City, 
S.D. and Doris Hurley of Perry, Ark.; other relatives and friends.
