Peter John Cozza, 76, retired businessman, died Sunday evening at his home.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Congregational 

Church in Silt with Rev. Otto Duckworth officiating.  Burial was in Highland 

cemetery, New Castle.

Mr. Cozza was born June 24, 1881, in Rogliano, Italy, a son of Antonio Cozza.  

He came to the U. S. with his parents when he was a young boy.  The family 

settled in the New Castle-Silt area, where Mr. Cozza had resided since.  He 

was a member of the IOOF Lodge in Silt.

He married Martha Belle Fuller Jan 28, 1906 at Silt.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Joe and John Cozza, Silt, two 

daughters, Mrs. Frances Sloat, Sacramento, Calif. and Mrs. Lucy Claypool, 

Silt, a brother, Louis Cozza, Fruita, two sisters, Mrs. Ben Zarlingo, Silt, 

and Mrs. Sam Zarlingo, Hanford, Calif.; also seven grandchildren and seven 

great-grandchildren.
