    A prosperous marble quarry town in Gunnison county, on the Crystal River &
    San Juan Ry., 40 miles south of Glenwood Springs and 30 miles south of
    Carbondale. The most extensive marble quarries as yet developed in the state
    are located here. The place is growing rapidly.
    Population 1,000.
    Altitude 7,779 feet.
