Photos, Valdez Cemetery, Huerfano County, Colorado June 2005 Edition of the Cemetery Photo Index The indexed photographs can be viewed by visiting the Colorado Tombstone Photo Project page at: http://www.usgwarchives.net/co/costones/huerfano/valdez.htm The Valdez Cemetery is located six miles east of Walsenburg on the north side of Colorado Highway 10. Besides the large number of "unknown" marked graves there are several others that have no marker at all. The photographs in this portion of the archives were contributed by: Karen Mitchell (unless otherwise credited). The numbers at the end of the lines of this alphabetical list reflect the order the photographs were taken. For the most part they could be used for plot numbers in a row-by-row listing. The unknown graves are listed by photograph number.
