Gilmer, industrial sales representative, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Moore Mortuary [800 E. 17th St., Denver]. Burial will be in Gunnison Cemetery. Gilmer, who lived at 9805 W. 36th Ave. in Wheat Ridge, died in Presbyterian Hospital Saturday after a short illness. He was 55. Born on Dec. 31, 1914, in Grand Junction, he attended Gunnison public schools and was married Aug. 6, 1938, in Denver to the former Regina M. Puhl. He was a machinist for the Rio Grande Railroad in Denver until 1952 when he became a sales representative of Dresser Industries, selling water and gas couplings and valves to municipalities. He was a member of the Episcopal Church, Highland Masonic Lodge 86, Colorado Consistory of Scottish Rite and El Jebel Shrine. Surviving, in addition to his widow, are four sons, Charles W. of Charlotte, N.C., James Irvin of Westminister, Scott and Luke of Wheat Ridge; three sisters and a brother, and four grandchildren.
