Additional Comments:
Sarah Maria Barnam, born May 11, 1831 in Calrlton, Orleans County, New York, was
a daughter of John P. Barnum and Isabel Lovell.  She married Franklin Chadsey,
son of William Jeremiah Chadsey and Maria Parish, on February 17, 1850. 
Franklin was born October 24, 1824 in Hiller, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada. 
He died March 27, 1883 in Nebraska City, Nebraska.  Sarah died July 28, 1914 in
Denver, Colorado.

Sarah and Franklin had the following known children:

Flora Ella Chadsey, born August 3, 1851, married Benjamin Estelle Lloyd on
September 6, 1869 in Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska, died March 8, 1884 in
Santa Cruz County, California.

Lillie Belle Chadsey, born March 1, 1856, died 1923.  She was a teacher.

Effie May Chadsey, born June 1861, died 1935.

Charles Ernest Chadsey, born October 16, 1970, died April 9, 1930 in Urbana,
Illinois. Charles married Callie Worth Price on Jun 29, 1897 in Durango,
Colorado.  He earned a PhD in education, became the Dean of Education at the
University of Illinois, Urbana, Champaign County, Illinois and was the author of
several books.
