At the time of her death she was 50 years, 3 months and 25 days of age. She was the oldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clemens Jostes, born December 19, 1889 in Lindsay, Nebraska. Aloys C. Schiferl and to this union ten children blessed their home, one child died in infancy. Those living to mourn her passing are her husband and children: Mrs. Frank Krasovich, Loveland, Colo.: Edmond of Englewood, Colo.: Mrs. Floyd Swagger and Mrs. Eldon Wolfrum both of Stratton, and Raymond, Paul, Lawrence, Jerome and Robert who are at home; five grandchildren; eight sisters; three brothers, besides a large number of other relatives, and a host of friends. Mr. and Mrs. Schiferl made their home at Lindsay until 1916 when they moved to Crofton, Neb., in 1920 they moved to Norfolk, Neb, and in 192` moved to Stratton where they still reside. Mrs. Schiferl was a devoted mother and wife, who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a charter of the Society of Christian Mothers of the St. Charles church and active member of the Christian Mothers Society. They acted as honorary pail bearers and guards of honor at the funeral. Requiem high mass was sung at 9 o’clock Monday morning at the St. Charles Catholic church. Father Ernest officiateing. She was laid to rest in the Calvary cemetery at Stratton Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were; Mr. & Mrs. Frank Krasovich of Loveland, Ed Schiferl of Englewood, Colo. Sister Mary Benigna, Bellwood, Neb., Mrs. For a Kaup West Point, Neb., Mrs. B. Freschauf, David City, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. Henggler, Columbus, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. C. Jostes and two sons, of Englewood, Mr. P. Bettinger, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bettinger, Mr. and Mrs. John Bettinger, Mr and Mrs. Herman Bettinger and a sister of the Bettinger brothers, all of Englewood, and Mrs. Ed Suretta of Denver.
