Fairview is the fist small plot on the east side of the road. History: This cemetery was created in the 1920's or 1930's as a replacement for the original Fairview Cemetery. The cemetery was never used as an actual burial site. It is unclear when the bodies were moved here from the original cemetery. The original cemetery was located along a small ridge at the very North end of 15 Street, Grand Junction. Transcription by: Robin Hood and Kathleen Haney or True Service, PO Box 953, Clifton CO 81521 There are no actual records for this, or the original, cemetery. Several more bodies were located in the mid 1990's when building new housing on the original cemetery site. There are several more graves than stones. Some stones have recently deteriorated and others were never marked. Since this plot is small, I have organized the names alphabetically for easier reference.
