There are nine active blocks in the cemetery. They are located on the south end of the cemetery area. History: This cemetery was started in the late 1800's. It is built in the South part of the area and is part of the largest cemetery in the Grand Junction area. Most of the cemetery was donated as a park, but then became a cemetery. Directions to the Jewish cemetery. To get to the Jewish cemetery: Drive past the municipal arch gate. Along the road on the right is the Jewish section. The main entry is a metal arch with the star on top. The arch is behind a tree so may not be seen from the road.
