There are nine active blocks in the cemetery. They are located on the south end of the cemetery area. History: This cemetery was started in the late 1800's. It is built in the South part of the area and is part of the largest cemetery in the Grand Junction area. Most of the cemetery was donated as a park, but then became a cemetery. Contact: Robin Hood or Kathleen Haney at True Service, PO Box 953, Clifton CO 81521 Block A Upper is located on the East side of the office and South of Block A Lower section. The main entrance road runs alongside of this section. The rows are listed running North to South and numbered West to East (from the office toward the fence.) The numbering on the rows is confusing as some rows do not run the full length of the block as it is not square. Block A Upper - - - - - - - - - - - Row 21 Hill Lizzie B. She may not run or laugh or play. Her thoughts might seem quite far away. In many ways, she won't be adept and be, known as handicapped, so let's be careful where she's sent. We want her life to be content. Please lord, find the parents who will do this special job for you. They will not realize right away the leading roll they are Asked to play, but with this child sent from above comes stronger Faith and richer love and soon they'll know the privilege given In caring for their gift from heaven.
