DE BEQUE.

    An incorporated town in Mesa county on the D. & R. G. R. R. and
    C. M. Ry., 32 miles northeast of Grand Junction and 58 miles west
    of Glenwood Springs. This town and the immediate vicinity can
    boast of many natural resources, being located in the famous Grand
    valley. It produces all kinds of fruit, also hay, grain and general
    farm products. The valley at this place is underlaid with oil and
    natural gas.
    Population 350.
    Altitude 4,800 feet.
