Paula May Poteet
October 29, 1964 - April 12, 1996

Paula May Poteet, of Grand Junction, died April 12, 1996. She was 31. Cremation 
has taken place and a memorial service will be held May 12 at Divide Creek 
Cemetery. Ms Poteet, a seamstress and homemaker was born to Darla may and Bill 
Poteet October 29, 1964 in Rifle. She spent the largest part of her childhood in 
the South, and grew up enjoying the West and Midwest. She married Ermine Payan 
in 1980. They divorced in 1987. She met her significant other, Perciliono 
Rodriguez while living in Dinuba, California. He survives. Paula was the 
granddaughter of the late Sylvia and Red Bunn. She enjoyed her children, 
cooking, crocheting, bead work and many other crafts. Most of al, she enjoyed 
making people laugh. Survivors include parents, Darla Poteet of Grand Junction, 
and Bill Poteet of Louisiana; a daughter and two sons, Jessica, Philip, and 
Pedro, all of Grand Junction; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Grace Poteet 
of Grand Junction; a siste and brother-in-law, Carmen and Greg Hays of Grand 
Junction, a sister Veronica Poteet, of Clifton; a nephew, niece, several aunts, 
uncles, cousins and many friends.
