Michael was born in Cortez, Colorado, 18 March, 1940. His parents were Malcom 
(Mac) and Inez (WOODS) CONOLEY, living in the Arriola Community.
He graduated from Arriola grade school and Montezuma County High School, class 
of 1958.
He enlisted in the Navy after graduation, attended Recruit Training at San 
Diego, CA and attended AT (Aviation Electronic Technician) school where he was 
promoted to AT3.
He was assigned to the Inactive Aircraft Facility, Litchfield, AZ. He was 
further assigned to a Naval Aircraft Repair Facility, Rota, Spain.
He completed his Naval career as a Second Class Petty officer.
He attended college at Brigham young University and UCal, Davis, with a degree 
in Electronic Engineering.
After graduation, he worked for Western Electric until it was merged with AT&T.
Michael was never married. He was living at his home in Winston-Salem, NC when 
he suffered a massive heart attack and died as a result.
His remains are interred in the family plot in Goodman Point Cemetery, Cortez, 
CO.
