George H. Eaton
   Montrose – Services for George Henry Eaton, 92, a resident of Colorado for 
three quarters of a century, will be held at the Valley Funeral Home at 10 
a.m. Saturday.  The Rev. Delbert Cowley will officiate.  Burial will be in the 
Eaton family cemetery at Cortez, Colo.
   Mr. Eaton died Wednesday at the Lily’s Guest House, where he had resided 
for the last four years.
   He was born Jan. 17, 1874 in Illinois.
   He spent his boyhood in Illinois and in Iowa, moving to Colorado in 1890.  
He homesteaded at Cortez in 1910.
   He was an electrician and a telephone company employe [sic] and a member of 
the Baptist Church.
   He married Lula Mae Grove in Havelock, Iowa, on July 7, 1897.  She died in 
1924.
   Surviving are two sons, G. Glenn Eaton of San Diego, Calif., and Hugh M. 
Eaton of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. J. T. Colin of Colona and Mrs. 
William Price of Del Norte; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
