Both families live in the Pinewood community. The Mancos Times-Tribune Jan. 19, 1923 John Henry Lambert was born Dec. 26, 1922, and departed his short life Jan. 10, 1923, aged 15 days. He was buried at Pinewood Jan. 12 at 3 P.M., beautiful and comforting words being spoken by David Halls. Little John Henry leaves to mourn his short life here a father, mother, six brothers and two sisters, grandparents and other relatives. The floral tributes and little white casket were beautiful. Everything possible was done by relatives and kind friends to save the little one's life, but all was in vain. God knew best and chose to take it to be with Him where it will be free from pain and the hardships of this life and may God draw near and comfort the parents in this their first bereavement. The parents wish to thank all those who were so kind to them in their great sorrow. File located at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/co/montezuma/obits/l/lambert-john-henry.txt
