Lambert After a lingering illness that has afflicted him more or less all winter, W.H. Lambert passed away at his ranch home in the Pinewood community, Wednesday morning. The Funeral service has been arranged to take place at the Pinewood Schoolhouse at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, burial to follow immediately in the community cemetery. William Henry Lambert was born in the State of Illinois June 25, 1852. Died near Mancos, Colorado, March 7, 1923. He came to Mancos seventeen years ago and settled on a homestead in what later became known as the Pinewood settlement where he has since resided. He led a quiet, simple life, was a good citizen and leaves many friends who esteemed him well. He is survived by his wife and three sons, they being John, Harry and William, and a granddaughter, Gerty White, and other grandchildren.
