George H Eaton
1874 - 1966

Additional Comments:
George Henry Eaton was born 17 Jan 1874 in Illinois, son of Henry Daines Eaton 
and Perlina "Lina" Monroe.  He died 4 May 1966. He married Lula Mae Grove on 7 
Jul 1897 in Havelock, Pocahontas County, Iowa.  They had at least four 
children:  George Glenn Eaton, Ardath Eaton Collin, Ruthe Eaton Price, and 
Hugh M Eaton.

After Lula's death in 1924, George married Emma Elizabeth Kerby Eaton, widow 
of his brother, Lee Daines Eaton who also died in 1924.  George and Emma 
married on 20 June 1925 in Cortez, Montezuma County, Colorado.

George had a twin brother, John, who was killed in a fight with Charles 
Donaldson who was also killed.  Donaldson hit John in the head with a shovel 
and George then shot Donaldson.  George was found guilty in court of second 
degree murder.
