Stewart, formerly of this city, to Miss Flora Walrath, the Rev. Gould performing the ceremony. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Stewart, and is well known to our readers, having learned telegraphy at this station, where he also held a position as day operator. We know him as an ambitious young man of sterling character, and we predict for him a successful future. The bride is a beautiful young lady, of a kind and loving disposition. She comes from one of Bloomington's best families, where she has lived and grown to womanhood, admired by all who know her. The couple arrived here last Saturday, and a reception was given them at the home of the groom's parents on Monday evening by a large gathering of their friends in Brush. After congratulations had been offered the happy couple, an excellent supper of ice cream and cake was served. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Sutton, Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Wotring, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Turpin, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. J. Graves, Mr. and Mrs. A. Gilcrest, Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Madison. Mesdames, Anna Stewart, K. Wimmer, M. A. Goodrick, R. Nelson, W. E. Turner, M. James, E. G. Goodrick, J. Baker and C. B. Simpson. Misses Stella Stewart, Mary Mortensen, Ida Nelson, Mabel Nelson, Laura Fawcett, Jessie Morey, Mitchell, Clara Wylie, Hattie Joslin, Lucie Joslin, Lena Gilcrest, Emma Hahn and Ivy House. Messrs. Fassnacht, W. E. McKinney, Fred Huston, John Needham, W. K. Davis, Eugene Moore and Carrol Graves. The young couple will leave here Monday for their home in Sharon Springs, Kan., where George has a lucrative position as agent for the Union Pacific. The Tribune wishes success and happiness in abundance through life.
