TIMOTHY BORDEN

AN AMERICAN PIONEER



Born in New York September 27, 1826. Died at his ranch here July 29, 1907.

He and his wife came to Iowa, 1853 - to Colorado 1861.

In 1865 they and his brother, Olney, became the first settlers in this mountain 

valley.

Bereavment, Misfortune, Endurance, Good Cheer, The Understanding and The 

Practice of the Law of Kindness, Comrade-ship, Benevolence of Mind, Charity,
