Howser would like to meet at her home Monday the 19th, between 2 and 5 in the afternoon and from 7 to 9 in the evening, all those interested in private lessons or chorus work in vocal music. W.H. Show made a business trip down into Nebraska this week. E.K. Lewis went to Holdrege, Nebraska last week and visited a few days with friends. Misses Pearl and Helen Suhr left Friday of last week for Denver to attend a tailoring school. FOR SALE - 20 pounds live geese feathers. - Mrs. Alva Whitney, North Holyoke. W.E. Nesbett of Aledo, Illinois arrived in Holyoke Thursday for a visit with the family of his uncle, J.W. Jewell. Miss Marian Pettitt of Washington, D.C. arrived in Holyoke last week for a visit with relatives, members of the Donnelly family in this county. Captain Mitts left Holyoke Monday for El Reno, Oklahoma, his former home, where he will spend a couple of weeks in helping carry Oklahoma for Taft. A train load of 16 cars of fine cattle left Holyoke Monday for the Omaha market. The cattle were from the ranches of H. Norris, Hibbs and others. Mrs. William Kipling of Plattville died on Monday, October 12. The deceased was well known to a large acquaintance in our county where she and her husband lived for years. She was held in very high regard by many friends who deeply sympathize with Mr. Kipling and the family in their sorrow for the death of a companion and mother. Mrs. J. H. Guernsey, a daughter of the deceased, left Holyoke Tuesday for Plattville. A little daughter arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. Vrba Wednesday. A little daughter arrived Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G.B. Weir. Miss Fay Clark who had been visiting Mrs. W.H. Lyman of Holyoke left Wednesday for her home in Arapahoe, Nebraska.
