Ute Cemetery, Aspen, Pitkin Co, Colorado Transcribed July 24, 1998 by Judy Crook. Cemetery is located in Aspen, Colorado. Take Original St. to Ute Ave. Go left .2 miles down Ute. The Cemetery is on your right. The side facing Ute is enclosed by a wooden fence. There is no sign on the south side. Sign at north entrance reads: "Ute Cemetery: This is consecrated ground. Walkers welcome. Please no horses or wheeled vehicles." This transcription is NOT definitive. Ute Cemetery isn't laid out in logical rows. Tombstones are hidden in the trees. Many markers are missing. All additions and corrections are welcome! I walked from the west end to the east end as systematically as possible.
