People and Parties, Here and About

This department's biggest social news of the day was the marriage of Neva 
Lawson and George Folsom....Neva retired as supervising principal of Fremont 
School last June after 38 years of service in this city's schools...She was 
married last month in Las Vegas and is now living in Aspen, Colo., where she 
was graduated from high school in 1896...She taught there for four years...Her 
husband is a well-known Aspenite and the couple is now at home at the Folsom 
residence in Aspen...Neva is a favorite here, not only in educational circles, 
but in Community Theater, Business Women's Speech Class and many other groups.
