Old June 2005 ================================================================== Pueblo Chieftan, Dec. 23, 1980 Alfred Henry Nesslage, late of 1035 Palmer, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 1980. at a local hospital. Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Doris Ann (Harold) Johnson, Mrs. JoAnn (Lawrence) Frazier, and Mrs. Iva Lee (Jack) Stump, all of Pueblo. Also survived by nine grand children and one sister, Alma Zimdahl, Pueblo, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Fin and Feather Club. Mr. Nesslage was born Jan 22, 1900 at Harvester, Mo. He lived at Avondale where he farmed before moving to Pueblo in 1942. He worked for CF&I for 27 years in open hearth. Preceded in death by his wife, Dora Nesslage, June 25, 1977. Service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec.24, 1980. Davis Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Roland Rauber of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment, Roselawn. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart Fund, Pueblo County Heart Unit, P.O. Box 1658 Pueblo 81002. Family may be contacted at 1035 Palmer. He will be in state after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday. ========================== Robert L. Middlekamp, longtime resident of Pueblo and late of Wetmore, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 1980 at St. Joseph Hospital, Florence, after a lengthy illness. Survived by his widow, Mrs. Clara Lee Middlekamp of the family home, and two daughters, Mrss. Clara Lee Rogers, Pueblo and Mrs. Eleanor Gale, Ft. Collins. Also survived by eight grandchildren, Frederick Scott Gale, Eric Kent Gale, Adele Katrina Gale, and Aaron Brett Gale, Ft. Collins, and Caroline Dianne Tekavek, Robin Lee Cope, Robert Curtis Cope and Lee Ellis Cox, Pueblo, and one great grandson, Tyrone Maximillian Tekavec,Pueblo. He was born Dec. 22, 1907 in Pueblo and was a prominent business man in Pueblo, having operated the Middlekamp Insurance and Real Estate Agency and was co-owner of the Bon Durant Building before his retirement 17 years ago. A private family graveside service was held today at Roselawn Cemetery with Rev. Roger Hupp officiating. Mrs. Searles will be in state after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
