Ebenezer Grout Dies At Age 94 - Ebenezer Spofford GROUT died at his home, 818 East Tenth street Wednesday morning. He would have been 95 years old in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. GROUT celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last May. They came to this section of Colorado in 1889, and settled on what was called the "Little Muddy," where they lived many years. Mr. GROUT was a member of the First Congregational church. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Emmie GROUT; children, Mrs. Lizzie GILBERT and Miss Stella GROUT, Pueblo; William GROUT, Penrose and Mrs. Dorothy YOUNG, Colorado Springs. Mr. GROUT was the grandfather of 15, including Mrs. Pete HUGHES and Paul GROUT of Pueblo, and the great grandfather of 12. Mr. and Mrs. GROUT came to Colorado in 1873 and were married in Greeley in 1875.
