Notice of funeral later. San Diego Union 6 Aug 1907, page 7 COLORADO RESIDENT SUCCUMBS TO ILLNESS Mrs. Ellen McDaniel, for more than twenty years a prominent teacher in the public schools of Southern Colorado, died in this city Sunday evening. She came here in hopes of recovering her health, but was too late. She was attended in her last illness by her four children, Theron, Chester, Gladys, and Alma whose loving ministry was unremitting to the last. Mrs. McDaniel was a woman of scholarly attainments and exemplary Christian character, and she will long be remembered by her innumerable friends in the field of her life's activities. Funeral services will be held at Johnson & Connell's Chapel at 2 p.m. today conducted by Rev. Bede A.
