Pogoda Cemetery - Bennett Family, Routt County, Colorado

The Pagoda Cemetery is southeast of Craig, Colorado and almost directly
east of Hamilton.   Take Hwy 13 south of Craig to Hamilton and then take 
Hwy 317 east out of Hamilton for 12 miles.   Pagoda is just a few 
buildings now. It was always real small, mainly a post office and
general store. There were some ranches nearby too.

Pagoda can also be reached by taking Road 53 south from Hayden.  Follow 
Road 53 14 miles to the junction of Road 29. Turn west and take Road 29
about 5 miles to Pagoda.

The cemetery is on a slope on the left as you approach Pagoda from the
west. It is almost impossible to miss, when you get there.

This cemetery was started when James Albert Bennett donated 
a piece of his ranch for it and the burial of his wife.
