Index to Photos, Ophir Cemetery, Ophir, San Miguel County, Colordo May 2005 Edition The indexed photographs can be viewed by visiting the Colorado Tombstone Photo Project page at: http://www.usgwarchives.net/co/costones/sanmiguel/ophir.htm To find Ophir Cemetery go South from the Telluride, Colorado intersection on Highway 145 for about 7 miles or so and turn east on the road to Ophir (signs posted). Go about 2.8 miles to "East Ophir." The road makes a Y, take the left branch, take the first left turn to the end of the road (about 2 blocks). The cemetery is on the hillside mostly hidden in the trees. A lot of graves do not have stones; only fences falling down around them.
