It is considered to be a Lutheran cemetery. There are no known cemetery records. The earliest known burial dates from 1887. *u Diamond, Jane died 1900 age 20 mo * Gehrig, Careline 1830 - 1899 * Gehrig, Godfrey 1819 - 1894 *u Karlson, Anna Maria died 1919 Marschang 1909-1910 (stone damaged) *u Meenan, Etta died 1900 (child) *u Meenan, Frankie died 1900 (child) *u Meenan, Joe died 1900 (child) * Meenan, Joseph died 3 Apr 1903 age 36 * Meenan, Margaret McMullen died 6 Feb 1907 age 85 There is an iron fence around 2 or 3 now unmarked graves in what appears to be a family plot with the remains of weathered wooden markers. * Indicates that Arlene has obit or death notice. u Indicates a known burial that is unmarked. -------------------------------- Footnote: 10 May 1901 - Akron Pioneer Press Curtis, Winnie Last Monday, the remains of Miss Winnie Curtis, the 14 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Curtis, were removed from the Curtis burying ground to the Akron Cemetery. Winnie died 14 years ago next June.
