Hyde-Fairview Cemetery, northeast of Hyde, Washington County, Colorado http://files.usgwarchives.net/co/washington/cemeteries/hyde.txt Transcribed and donated by: Arlene Glenn February 23, 2001 Washington County records state that the Hyde-Fairview Cemetery, consisting of 1.1 acres, was sold to Washington County in 1934 for $33. This cemetery is located on U.S. Highway 34 a mile and a half west of the Yuma-Washington county line. It is a mile north and one half mile east of the Hyde townsite. The Hyde townsite was established in 1885. The Fairview cemetery dates from about 1887. About half of the graves have monuments and about 15 more have blank concrete markers. There are no known records for the cemetery.
