(Note: Mary was the first women minister to serve in Colorado. It was through her efforts that the Highlandlake Church building was built. She was also a returned missionary from Africa where she served 7 years until ill health forced her return to the states.) Comstock, O. M. 22 Sept 1878 32 y 10m 9 d, "Our Brother" on the Oviatt shaft. The following 4 are buried in a wrought iron enclosed plot. Davis, George 16 Oct 1817 - 18 Nov 1897 "Father" (Note; George Davis was a Congregational missionary who founded the first 4 congregational churches in Colorado. Central City, Black Hawk, Longmont and Highlandlake. He built his house on the southeast corner of Highlandlake in 1878 finishing it in 1881, and a few years later sold it to the Highlandlake church for use as a parsonage.)
