Heindel Monday at the Methodist Church in Wray with Rev. David McKay officiating. Interment was at Grandview Cemetery. Mr. Heindel was born on October 16, 1905 to Mr. and Mrs. William Heindel, Sr. and passed away at the Wray Community Hospital Thursday, June 22. The last William Heindel, Sr. and other members of the family started a Chevrolet agency in Wray in 1912 and was purchased later by Ted Heindel under the name of the Heindel Garage. He owned and operated the dealership for 33 years. In 1958 he sold the Chevrolet agency to Bill Olsen to devote more time to the Butte Motel which was built early in 1957. Mr. and Mrs. Heindel owned and oeprated the Butte Motel for the past 10 years until recently when the motel was sold. He was a former member of the Rotary Club and Wray Commercial Club. A daughter, Dianne Heindel Walz passed away in July of 1963. He is survived by his wife, Dora and one son, John; three brothers, Bob of Dallas, Texas, Bill of Casper, Wyoming and Chris of Wray and three sisters, Marie Keenan of Denver, Kathryn Shroyer and Bertha Brownlee of Greeley and seven granchildren.
