Services were held Tuesday at the Yuma Methodist Church, with Rev. Willis Goettel officiating. Interment was made in the Yuma Cemetery. Clarabelle HIGGINS, daughter of Mike and Nellis GISI, was born September 22, 1913, one mile east and 3/4 mile north of Yuma. She attended Yuma schools and most of her life was spent in Yuma and vicinity. She was married to Robert BENJAMIN on September 24, 1934, and to them two daughters were born. On March 4, 1942 she was married to LeRoy B. HIGGINS. To this union were born three sons and two daughters. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1959 and her father in 1959. Surviving are her husband, Roy HIGGINS of Yuma; her children, Mrs. Nellie Benjamin TALADAY of Sterling, Mrs. Roberta Benjamin STOUT of Chicago, Illinois,Rosalie, Benny Jr., Howard Dean, Betty Lou, and Billie HIGGINS, all at home; a brother Gerald GISI and a sister, Mrs. Mary CHILCOTT, both of Yuma; a half brother, Ward TOMLINSON of Wray; a stepmother, Mrs. Lydia GISI of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and six grandchildren.
