Yuma Pioneer Newspaper
Services ere held Tuesday, August 28, 1973, for Edith Marie HIGGINS, at the 
First United Methodist Church in Yuma.

Mrs. Higgins was born September 4, 1915 to William and Laura WALKER in Sioux 
County, Nebraska, where she attended school until 1928.  Her education was 
completed in Mitchell, Nebraska.  On February 22, 1949 she married Robert 
HIGGINS.  For the rest of her life, she lived in and around Yuma.  Mrs. 
HIGGINS died August 24, 1973.

Edith HIGGINS is survived by her husband and three step children, Clifford of 
Alliance, Nebraska, Delores of Terry Town, Nebraska, and Robert of Gurnesy, 
Wyoming, W. H. WALKER of Casper, Wyoming, a brother, and Leona BOWLAND of 
Akron, a sister, two nephews and one niece, and ten grandchildre also survive 
Mrs. HIGGINS.

Additional Comments:
Edith is buried in the Yuma Cemetery with her husband, Robert Paul HIGGINS.
