Yuma Pioneer Newspaper
Last rites were held Saturday morning for Harry F. HIGGINS at the Methodist 
Church in Yuma.  Rev. Hershall Bauer officiated.

Harry was born March 12, 1884, to Benjamin and Frances (MORRIS) HIGGINS.

He grew to manhood in Iowa and married Anna JACOBS in 1903.  They lived on a 
farm for 10 years near Diagnol, Iowa, and then homesteaded 19 miles south of 
Yuma in 1910.

To this union 5 children were born; Gracie, Agnes, Doyle, Roena, and a son 
Harold who preceded him in death in 1961.  Other survivors include 10 
grandchildre, 25 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of 
friends.
