Goldean M. "Goldie" MITCHELL, 77, Hillsboro, Oregon, died May 21, 2005 at 
Tuality Community Hospital.

Graveside services and interment were held May 24 at Valley Memorial Park in 
Hillsboro.

Mrs. MITCHELL was born June 21, 1927, in Yuma, Colorado, the daughter of Carl 
and Martha (REYNOLDS) HIGGINS.  She was raised and educated in Yuma, Colorado.

On July 16, 1946, she married Clarence EATON in St. Francis, Kansas.  They met 
while working for a carnival.

On April 13, 1963, she married Henry MITCHELL in Rapid City, South Dakota.  He 
died in 1983.

She worked pulling green chain at Burman Sawmill mill in New Castle, Wyoming.  
After moving to the Hillsboro area, she worked at GAFF, which became 
Viewmaster and then Tyco.  She retired in 1988.

She enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting and collecting rocks.
