The Rev. Earl R. Saladen conducted the services and burial followed in Grandview Cemetery. Mr Muller was found dead in the family home near Bushnell Friday. There was a bullet wound in his head. Mr Muller was born February 15, 1925 at Lebanon, Kansas to Noah and Lena Cox Muller. He was the youngest of three children and when he was five weeks old his mother died. The paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs A.L. Muller, cared for the family a few years. Later his father remarried and established his own home again, but Don had grown into his grandparents hearts and he remained with them, although he was closely associated with his parents and his older sister and brother. When in 1928, the Noah Muller family moved from Lebanon, Kansas to Wray, that same fall Don and his grandparents also moved to Wray. While a teenage boy he was baptized into the Christian Church and continued his membership in the Christian Church at Wray until his death. He received his education in the Wray schools and graduated from the local high school in the spring of 1943. On December 24, 1942 he was married to Miss Geneva Schafer. Three children were born to them - Douglas Craig, Janet Kay, and Cynthia Sue. Mr Muller enlisted in the Army and served in the post-war days in the Philippine Islands. He received his discharge from the service in March 1946. After he returned home he operated the Riverside Dairy Farm at Wray for several years. The last few years he had been in construction work here and at points in Nebraska and was considered a master workman in his chosen trade. Mr Muller was grief-stricken in February of last year when his daughter, Cynthis Sue, died unexpectedly. The incident had affected his health and attitude. He is survived by his wife, Geneva, his son Douglas and daughter Kay, his parents Mr and Mrs Noah Muller of Wray, a sister Mrs Victor Harris of North Hollywood California, a brother Bill Muller of Wray and his grandfather A.L. Muller of Wray. File located at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/co/yuma/obits/m/muller_donald_1957.txt
