Thursday, November 8, 1973 The Wray Gazette Newspaper
Wilbert (Sam) Peters was born January 7, 1911 to Ernest and Dina Peters.  He 
passed away at the Wray Community Hospital October 29, 1973 at the age of 62 
years, 9 months and 22 days.

He was married to Myrle Smith and to this union a son and a daughter were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Dina; a sister, Magnalena 
and brothers, William, Harry, Frederick and Oscar.  He is survived by his 
wife, Myrle; son, Samuel and daughter Chrisse of the home; brother, Walter of 
Greeley and five sisters, Dora Tye and Frieda Quick of Greeley; Hilda Parker 
of Colorado Springs, Katherine Zion of Idalia and Opal Cantrall of Vernon.

Funeral services were held October 31 at the Christian Church of Wray with 
Rev. S. F. Bullard officiating.  Interment was at Grandview Cemetery.
