Funeral services for Neva Jane PRICKETT were held at the Yuma Church of the 

Nazarene on Monday, May 4 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd VAN MATRE 

officiating.  Interment was in the Eckley Cemetery.



Neva Jane PRICKETT, daughter of James H. and Luella G. (HIGGINS) CAMPBELL was 

born on May 4, 1903 at Mount Ayr, Iowa, and departed this life at Wray on 

April 30, 1981.



In the year 1910, she came to Colorado with her mother and family from Iowa.



On December 20, 1920 she was united in marriage to Clyde PRICKETT at Wray.  To 

this union three sons and three daughters were born.



She lived most of her life in the Eckley community where she received her 

education and attended church.



She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962, and infant son and daughter, 

her father and mother, and four brothers.



She is survived by two sons, James Grant and Harold Wayne; two daughters, Neva 

Nadine and Alice Louise; two sisters, Nellie IRELAND of Loveland and Clara 

LUCORE of Eneterprise, Oregon; one brother, Julius King of Shelton Washington 

and several nieces and nephews and a host of neighbors and friends.
